In May 2019, we played at Brent Cross Shopping Centre to support Dementia Club UK.
We have performed several concerts for this Charity, including through our smaller group - the Ionian Clarinet Quartet.
In June, we returned to the Roxbourne Park Sunday Music sessions in Harrow to play an "Animals" programme. This included eagles, dogs, lions, fossils, and somehow, I managed to squeeze in some Bach. Woof, woof.
We returned in September, where we played our History of Jazz programme, to a very enthustiastic audience. We look forward to further visits in 2020.
Our September 2019 Playday was the best yet.
We opened with a bass clarinet choir, playing Bartok's Village Dance and Paul Harvey's Eulogy to Horatio Nelson. Several requests that we do a similar event in future.
We then moved to full choir, and playing included Mozart's Sinfonia Concertante, Woolfenden's Three Dances and Andy Scott's Paquito.
